Laundryman B

The Laundry Man B’s primary responsibility is to iron the Crew and Officer uniforms, assist the Washer/Dryer position in their duties, operate the folding machine, clean the washing machines and dryers and bring the garbage to the incinerator room.

In order to consistently exceed Residents’ and Guests’ expectations and provide the highest levels of products and services, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

• Minimum of 2 years previous experience as a Laundry Man or similar job on an ultra luxury cruise ship, private club, boutique hotel, ultra luxury hotel or resort.
• Experience with various types of laundry, pressing and folding machine.
• Knowledgeable in the correct use and handling of cleaning agents and chemicals.
• Experience in the use and operation of industrial dry cleaning equipment & chemicals is desirable
