The Guest Services Coordinator will provide the finest personal service to Residents, Guests and Partners of The World. Duties include answering general calls and inquiries, booking and allocating reservations, rental reporting administration and liaising with the onboard team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all Guest Services responsibilities
  • Answer and manage incoming calls and inquiries
  • Allocate reservations and booking requests based on Guest preferences and availability
  • Assume responsibility for updating Guest and other information
  • Communicates program related details using databases and internet
  • Complete mailings to travel partners and guests
  • Complete reports in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist ship personnel with items related to Guest Services as needed
  • Acts as a liaison and maintains open, clear lines of communication with other departments including the onboard Front Office team
  • Coordinate transfer requests
  • Coordinate and communicate the processing of visa, travel and or medical requirements for Guests

Hiring Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Hospitality, preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in guest/customer service in a luxury travel related environment preferred
  • Superior English verbal and written communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of world geography
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office, BrightBase or similar database
  • Professional appearance and excellent verbal and written presentation skills
