The primary responsibility of the Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) is to provide the highest personalized service, administrative and other support to Residents. The position is the primary contact for Residents and Contractors for Refurbishment periods, also performs administrative duties for the General Manager and Resident Committees.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the main contact person for all Residents, orders and arranges items as needed and requested by Residents
  • Assists in coordinating all onboard functions for Residents, communicates accordingly with relevant departments
  • Prepares for and attends Resident meetings and special projects as required
  • Coordinates apartment refurbishments for Residents, communicates contractor booking updates, schedules contractor orientations in conjunction with the Staff Captain, liaises contractor requests, tracks monthly contractor F&B charges.
  • Maintains and updates the Contractor Contact List
  • Communicates with contractors and shore side interior designers regarding all current & upcoming refurbishment requests
  • Ensures that all the relevant departments are advised of any work being undertaken in Residences
  • Ensures that neighboring Residents are advised in advance of work being undertaken in Residences
  • Provides CAD drawings using the Bentley View program upon request of Residents, Contractors or the Residential Director
  • Assists with Resident onboard functions, provides details of expected Residents onboard, creates and sends invitations, maintains RSVP lists, facilitates menu selections, inputs visitor list details etc.
  • Assists with Resident shoreside functions as above in addition liaises with The World Concierge for transportation requests etc.
  • Coordinates the arrival of new Residents to The World by ensuring all departments are informed, departmental inspections are conducted in a timely manner, amenities are set up and the Resident Welcome Booklet (RWB) is provided.
  • The RSC personally welcomes the new Resident(s) onboard and escorts them to their new Residences where he/she conducts the in-residence check in procedure
  • Acknowledges Residents preferences and ensures all changes are communicated to General Manager and Residential Director
  • Communicates with Residents and Guests in a warm, professional manner and always exceeds their expectations 

Hiring Requirements

  • Minimum three years of experience as a Guest Relations Manager or Supervisor, Residential Services or similar position in an ultra-luxury cruise ship, private club, luxury hotel or resort
  • Hospitality degree or Foreign equivalency
  • Executive level administrative experience preferred, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Stellar organizational and planning skills
  • Advanced computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
  • Strong English communication skills are essential, must be able to read, write and speak fluently in English
  • One or more additional language preferred
